OVERVIEW
I built Incom to make long-term investment planning easier to explore, turning assumptions about contributions, returns, fees, and inflation into clear visual projections.
The app supports two complementary workflows: projecting how an investment could grow and working backwards from a financial target to estimate the recurring contribution needed to reach it.
CHALLENGE
A single future balance does not tell the whole story. Contribution timing, annual increases, fees, and inflation all affect how a projection should be interpreted.
Incom brings those assumptions together with cautious, expected, and ambitious return scenarios. Charts and annual breakdowns distinguish money invested from investment growth, and nominal balances from purchasing power in today's money.
OUTCOME
The result is a deployed investment planner available in English and Spanish, with growth projections, target planning, and scenario comparisons in one responsive interface. Its clear visual guidance and approachable controls make exploring compound growth feel friendlier and more intuitive than using the typical compound-interest calculators available online.
